Caketasia is a bakery owned by Aderonke Efunnuga in Manchester UK

Hello, I’m Aderonke, a part-time cake artist as well as full-time student. I offer custom celebration cakes, gearing more towards wedding cakes. I can decorate cakes in buttercream, ganache and fondant (my personal fave) so any one you fancy, I can deliver Lord willing!

I was officially allowed to bake my first cake when I was 12 years old, which looked pretty good but tasted horrible because I didn’t realise the importance of ingredient proportions back then.

Fast forward to now, I’m 20 years old and can make really beautiful cakes (which taste delicious!) and I’m even surprised by what I create sometimes - all the glory belongs to my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I just find it awesome how the Creator of the Universe creates creators. My goal is to create things that’ll please Him who created me and bring glory to His holy name through my talent. There are times when I’ll just get on my knees out of excitement and thank the Lord for helping me create such a wonderful looking cake - it really is such a pleasure to be a child of the Great King and I love how I can celebrate little things like this with Him knowing that He actually cares!
